We recently had the opportunity to upgrade Rebecca Richter, an elementary school teacher, with new staplers! Given the different demands that she had of her stapler, we knew that only one traditional desktop stapler wouldn’t suffice. Instead, we exchanged her old stapler with the following:
747 Desk Stapler in Rio Red for the ‘va va voom’ everyone needs in their life:
What Rebecca had to say: “Can an office supply be beautiful? Why, yes it can. And this stapler is beautiful. When I first laid eyes upon it, I wondered if Swingline was perhaps having the stapler painted at the same place as the 1965 Ford Mustang. It is cherry-red and I love it! This stapler is also very heavy. It is all metal, except for the rubber base. Best of all, in this color, it will be very difficult to lose!”
Swingline Tot Stapler that would add the perfect amount of cuteness to every day:
“Well…adorable. It seems that I, like most of my friends, love anything in miniature. And the colors are great. Even the staples are pretty! But, and this is genius, the BEST part about this stapler is that it is ALSO A STAPLE REMOVER! This is going to be my favorite thing at the end of the school year when I have to “un-staple” everything I have displayed. And did I mention the storage compartment for more staples? In a stapler that fits in the palm of my hand? I’m verklempt.”
Optima Grip Electric Stapler that would be quick and easy for her to use as she juggles multiple paper piles:
“Woo Hoo! I am so excited to have an electric stapler that actually works! And the ability to use either batteries (4 AA’s) or plug it into the wall makes it always ready to be used. This stapler is very quiet, which is a feature I very much appreciate.”
Swingline Long Reach Stapler that allowed her and her students to design and complete an array of different crafts in the classroom:
“Hands down, this is the MOST used stapler in my classroom! Being able to make booklets with center staples has saved me 75% in paper costs! Every teacher should have one of these in the classroom. School Districts would save money in the long-run by having these available for teachers.”
She shared with us the below pictures, showing exactly how her students used the long reach stapler to staple muslin to their paper patterns for tracing in class.
With this stapler, there are countless different crafts that can be completed! Between the built in ruler and the versatility, this stapler can meet any non-standard and center-stitch stapling needs.
Even though the school year is winding down and kids will no longer be in school working on different projects and presentations, be sure to keep them busy with different arts and crafts at home. Check out our Summer Crafting pinterest board for more fun ideas to try out!
